Czech companies and startups will present their innovative solutions at the international fair Ecomondo dedicated to industrial technologies and services for the circular economy. The fair corresponds to the new trends promoted by the Italian government, such as natural resources, water, circular bioeconomy, remediation and hydrogeological risk. CzechTrade Italy organizes a joint participation for Czech companies and start-ups at Ecomondo 2023 realized in the form of a national stand. This year's theme of the fair is The Ecosystem of Ecological Transition. Ecomondo offers an extensive programme consisting of conferences, workshops and seminars aimed at presenting national and international case studies and new trends relating to the circular economy applied to various sectors. Ecomondo covers seven key categories - Waste as Resource, Water Cycle and Blue Economy, Bioenergy and Agriculture, Circular and Regenerative Bio-Economy, Site and Soil Restoration, Environmental Monitoring and Control and Sal.ve (The Ecological Services Vehicle Station).

The fair is also divided into several exhibition districts, such as textile district, paper district, paper value chain, weee district (waste from electrical and electronic equipment), blue economy and innovation district, where companies from all over the world showcase their solutions and products. Ecomondo connects the industry, stakeholders, policy makers, opinion leaders and local authorities together and it also brings together and systemizes the key elements that define the development strategies of the European Union's environmental policy. Economodo provides an opportunity to gain contacts with Italian and international buyers, as it promotes networking at business and a scientific level.
