Urban Heat Vulnerability Assessment: Our service offers a comprehensive analysis of urban heat vulnerability through advanced mapping and data visualization. Utilizing satellite imagery from NASA and ESA, we generate the Urban Heat Vulnerability Map for a given city. This map serves as a crucial decision-making tool for urban planners and designers, helping them identify areas most susceptible to extreme heat events. The map is based on the Urban Heat Vulnerability Index, which combines satellite data and open-source information to assess exposure, sensitivity, adaptive capacity, and overall heat vulnerability, following the IPCC framework. With these insights, we provide actionable analytics that empower urban planners to initiate effective heat resiliency strategies tailored to their city’s unique needs. 

Urban Microclimate Simulation Assessment: This service delves into specific urban areas slated for development or redevelopment, analyzing the root causes of overheating during extreme heat events. By simulating the urban microclimate using the SOLENE-microclimat software suite, we can assess factors like air temperature, humidity, wind patterns, solar radiation, and comfort indices. Based on these findings, we propose innovative heat-resilient urban designs, leveraging blue-green-white infrastructure solutions such as green spaces, trees, green roofs, water bodies, white roofing, and lighter-colored building materials. We also offer validation of these designs, demonstrating their effectiveness compared to existing urban layouts before they are implemented.
