OICT Prague is a municipal joint-stock company dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of ICT services for Prague. Our core responsibilities include managing Smart City projects, driving innovation management, and offering expert consulting and implementation of ICT initiatives for Prague, its municipal districts, and other municipal entities.
OICT Prague's mission is to enhance and simplify life in Prague through innovative projects that elevate our capital to the standards of a world-class metropolis. One of our standout achievements is the PID Lítačka mobile application, a unique tool for check-ins, route planning, and ticket purchases for Prague and the Central Bohemian Region.
Since 2018, the foundation of our projects and products has been data, operated through the Golemio data platform. Golemio collects and visualizes urban data from various sectors of life in Prague, such as monitoring smart waste collection and microclimate conditions.
OICT Prague is proud to present at the Smart City Expo World Congress with our interactive audiovisual installation, Prague Pixels. This installation is powered entirely by real-time urban data from Prague, collected through our various Smart City pilot projects. All the urban data is stored in the City of Prague's data platform, Golemio. Prague Pixels utilizes this platform to draw, visualize, and sonify the data, offering a unique and immersive experience that showcases the dynamic life of Prague.
