FLOW operates seamlessly in smart cameras, standalone edge devices, or servers, allowing for an unlimited number of traffic measurement tasks within a single camera view. This data is instrumental in enhancing traffic flow and road safety.
We have brought innovation to traffic engineering firms, municipalities, government institutions, R&D departments, and security agencies in over 100 countries through our extensive network of integration partners. Additionally, our DataFromSky academy program supports numerous research projects worldwide, collaborating with more than 50 universities.
In Zlin, Czech Republic, the installation of our TrafficXRoads FLOW-based solution at a busy T-junction has transformed traffic management with remarkable success. The project implemented an adaptive traffic control system using three Full HD IP cameras equipped with WDR technology, providing vehicle detection up to 80 meters. Leveraging the FLOW Insights tool, nine virtual detection zones were configured, significantly enhancing real-time traffic monitoring. This optimization led to a 50% reduction in waiting times and a 1.7-fold decrease in vehicle stops, contributing to lower noise levels and emissions.
What sets FLOW apart is its ability to detect 17 distinct categories of objects, including vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, prams, and wheelchairs. It delivers comprehensive data, including detailed counts, license plate reading, color recognition, section speed measurement, and vehicle trajectory tracking.FLOW also excels in identifying traffic violations and critical events, such as red light running, wrong-way driving, illegal U-turns, stopped vehicles, jaywalking, obstacles on the road, and even smoke or fire detection.
