The urban institute Hungary Zrt. is a German-Hungarian joint venture company, founded in December 2015, and part of the German-based [ui!] group, which includes software development and consulting companies operating in several locations around the world.

In cooperation with municipalities and metropolitan regions, [ui!] implements ambitious 'smart city' projects in areas such as traffic and parking management, infrastructure development, energy strategy development and climate change mitigation to make cities even smarter. In addition to municipalities, its clients and partners include central governments, energy providers and businesses.
