ABOUT THE EVENT

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Budapest, CzechTrade office in Budapest, Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Hungarian National Association of Local Authorities (TÖOSZ) and the Óbuda University joined forces again and organized City for the Future Budapest 2023 - Smart City Expo & B2B Business Forum for Sustainable and Smart Urban Development.

New technologies have been and will be a key for the development of modern cities. Having this in mind, we have brought together leading Czech and Hungarian companies supplying municipalities of all sizes to present their most promising innovations and solutions that could help to achieve our ultimate goal: to turn urban areas into places where people thrive, feel at home and desire to spend their lives.

This year we put a special focus on energy efficiency and best practices of settlement how to combat the surge of energy prices.

During the City For The Future Budapest 2023 - CEE Expo & B2B Forum for Sustainable and Smart Urban Development participants learned more about the current technology trends in the field of energy efficiency and energy savings, sustainable urban management and development projects and met innovative Czech, Hungarian, Slovak and Romanian smart city providers.

The event was attended by more that 580 participants, 25+ speakers and 45 exhibitors from 5 countries.
